    1. I’m not exactly sure. I know the church is the one my great-great-great-great grandparents attended, so at least 150 years old. The school I’d guess to be of similar age as Feystown hasn’t been much of a “town” for at least 100 years.

  1. Mary Gibson, my great, great, great grandmother, was the first person to be confirmed in this church, which was built in 1828. She had been the last person baptized in the prior church, which is now in ruins. There is a wonderful image of St Patrick as a young man on the opposite wall of this church.

    I was able to tract down the St Patrick image I had referenced. It can be seen (and purchased) by going to Flickr and searching “Feystown”. The sculpture was done by a local countess.
